Can you suppress records using a Join?

I wanted to suppress records that are on another dataset so do a “not-in” join. Would you have to create a field on that suppression dataset and set every record to 1. Then do a normal join but then filter on the new field so only non-matching records would survive?

Yes, that will work. Sort of like the SET/IN= usage in SAS
