The definition of an Insight, whether a chart, table, map, or other type of insight, can be easily copied. This allows you to use one definition as a starting point for a new one. The process is simple.
1) Select the insight you want to copy from the Insights list.
2) Click Create a Copy from the Selected Chart menu, or from the right click menu.
After clicking Create a Copy, you will have the option to provide a name to the copied version of the Insight. Change the name or add a description as you wish, decide which Insight Library in which to place it (defaulting to the current library), click OK, and you will be taken to the Edit dialog for the new Insight.
